Known for having an eye in the small details and her fresh traditional aesthetic, The American Society of Interior Designers honored Sherrell with a Ruby Design Award in 2019 for best Residential Small firm. She was also named a House Beautiful Next Wave Designer recipient in 2022 and Next In Design by Luxe Interiors + Design in 2023. Sherrell has been creating thoughtfully designed interiors that embrace livable style since establishing her firm in 2016. Sherrell holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Houston and is an Allied Member of her local ASID chapter. Her passion for detail, quality and craftsmanship matured from time in the field on remodel jobs and in workshops, where she developed a heart for design and interior architecture alongside her family’s remodeling business.
Although born and raised in Houston, Sherrell’s aesthetic is heavily influenced by her upbringing in Southern Louisiana where art, antiques and everyday furnishings kept casual company. Relaxing color palettes, rich textures, patterns, and quality craftmanship are her signature for layering classic sophistication into today’s family home. Her range of work often conveys a mix of old and new with restraint and timelessness.
Sherrell's desire to help her clients in creating meaningful memories and connections in their homes is a significant driver throughout her planning. She sees value in creating functional and multi-layered environments that reflect her clients' style, and her long-standing relationships with repeat clients speak to her approachability and thoughtful design solutions.
